UK weather maps predict snow in several regions of the UK. including parts of southern England. WXCHARTS’ new weather forecast predicts snow will arrive on Tuesday, November 18.
In the morning, snow will mainly affect Scotland, with most of the country coveredthe maps show. Parts of northern England near Newcastle are also expected to experience winter rain.
Further south, patches of snow can be seen near London, Kent and Norfolk.
The WXCHARTS forecast, aided by data from Metdesk, also shows a drop in temperatures, especially in Scotland, where there could be lows of -8C in the Highlands.
Northern England, near the Scottish border, will also be cold with temperatures of -5C.
Most of England will be just below freezing, with much of the south falling to -2C.
He Meteorological OfficeThe forecast also says snow is possible in the UK next week.
Met Office meteorologist Simon Partridge told The Independent: “It will certainly be much colder over the next few days, there will be a temperature drop of eight to 10 degrees, and it will be difficult to get double figures.”
“We will likely see our first widespread freeze across the country on Monday morning and the lowest temperatures will be between -5C and -7C.”
It added that snow is likely to fall in Scotland, Northern Ireland, the North Yorkshire moors, west Wales and the moors of south-west England.
These conditions are most likely to arrive on Tuesday and Wednesday.
